Making your photo's bigger in Blogger

I am so excited! Today I learned a new EASY way to enlarge your pictures on blogger. I am so excited about it I had to share...

Here is how you do it:

First go to your blogs Settings/Basic tab.

Then scroll down to the Global settings and click on the Updated Editor under Select Post Settings. Then  make sure to click Save.

Now your New Post box will look a little different, but like life Change is good! :)  You will load your picture and it will be a little different. You can now see the images in a thumbnail and you select them to add to your post one at a time. I like it better because now if you are adding more than one you can start at the first picture instead of the last.

Now here is the cool part... Once you have selected ok your picture will appear in your post and right below it will be a box that allows you to select the size and the position of your photo.

Then you are done! It is that easy. No more messing with the HTML code! Hope this helps.

Welcome 2010!

Today I am finally ready for the new year to start! I have made my goals, put my Christmas away, created my first scrapbook page, updated my blog, and it is a beautiful sunny day outside.

On Monday we I decided what our "word" would be for this year. It is going to be FOCUS. I think it is perfect especially for me because I can loose track of my focus really quite quick. I want to focus on the things that matter, scripture study, family, husband... I also want to focus on finishing. I have trouble with finishing things, I am a great starter, it is the finishing that needs the work. I also want to focus on keeping this year caught up in the scrapbooking department. Here is how I am going to do it....

You see I am going to take a picture everyday this year. I then will use the Everyday Life Digital Kit that Bradi and I created to make my layouts! How easy is that. Everything I could ever want to put on my pages is already pre-done and no thinking will be involved. This will really make my "finishing" goal a whole lot easier!

Anyone else want to do it with me? See my 1st week is already half way done. I think 2010 is shaping up to be a fantastic year already!

Christmas Day

Our Christmas was so fun! It is hard to beat a Christmas morning with 3 kids waking up to see what Santa brought them. There is something kind of magical about the whole thing that gives me butterflies every year. I am so glad we have family close that can spend the day with. It makes for a long day, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.
