First Day

The first day of school has come and gone. The boys were so excited. I was also excited, up until the minute I walked out of Landon's class room leaving him there for the whole day, realizing my oldest is growing up right before my eyes, then I turned into a wreck for the rest of the day! I can't believe Preston started Kindergarten. He is doing great and loving recess. Landon is loves eating lunch at the school and the fact that he gets 3 recesses. I am happy they enjoy it. Now that they have been going for a week, I am adjusting and liking it a little too!

Fun at the Fair!

Last Wednesday night was the Fair Jr Rodeo. Landon and Preston had a great time! Preston ran the Barrels, did the Goat Tail Pull and the Dummy Roping and came away a 2nd Place Winner! He rode Rocky all by himself and did a fabulous job. Landon competed in the Flag Race, Goat Tail Pull and Dummy Roping, his competition was a little bit tougher.. but he has made a huge improvement in his riding skills from last year. He even loped through the whole flag race pattern. Way to go boys!

Addie loved the Parade on Saturday morning, or maybe she just loved the candy! Nothing like a few Dum Dum's at 9:00 am!

We also went to the Bear Show, Community Displays, Bull Riding, dunked a few police officers at the Dunking Tank, climbed the rock wall, ate a bunch of fair food and went to the carnival.
The rides are always the highlight for the boys. Landon even rode a big ride with his friend Hailee! I thought he was going to be sick, but after he said he felt fine and wanted to ride it again! Good Times.

Getaways are Good!

Last week I was able to go to SLC with the girls for an overnighter. Even though it only lasted a little over 24 hours it was just what the Dr. ordered! Bradi and Katie were already going and they invited Aubrey and I to tag along. We ate lots of yummy food, played cards, laughed, solved all the worlds problems and did a little shopping. It was fun to be just a girl again. We could even get out and go in Crispy Cremes because I didn't have to worry about buckling all the kids back in the car when we were done. It was great! All the donuts we ate, well... thats another story!
How hard is it to take one group pic?!

15 months

Addie just went to her 15 month  check up and here is what we learned....

She weights in at a whopping 19 lbs 6 oz.
She is in  8% for her weight.
She is healthy and happy and only had to have one shot! She did great, and didn't ever get a fever.
She does NOT like the doctor, she screams every time he walks in the room. I told her we all love Dr. Thompson, but she wouldn't listen to me.
She still loves her thumb and her blanket. She is getting to the point where she doesn't love her bottle to much anymore. If I was ambitious I would take it away. I might real soon.
She is running (not walking) every where she goes.
She has 6 top teeth and only 2 bottom.
She LOVES shoes.
She never sits still, unless you are painting her toe nails or she is home alone with her Dad, then she will lay on his lap for hours.
She LOVES food, she eats everything except tomatoes.
She is starting to talk, she says Dada, Mom, baba, blankey, dog, whats that, and she really loves the word NOOO and emphasizes it by sticking her bottom lip out really far.
She is sassy to say the least.
She sleeps through the night, still takes 2 naps a day and goes to bed about 9 or 10.
She loves her brothers and follows them everywhere.
She likes dogs, but only from a distance. She seems to cry once they touch her, then she gets over it and pulls their hair.
She can get up on Landon's top bunk by climbing his ladder all by herself. Auuggghh.
She has her Mom and Dad wrapped right around her finger. We loves her to bits and don't know what we would do without her.

Basketball Buddies

Landon's friend Carson invited him to go to a Basketball Camp last week. He wasn't sure if he should go, since he was a "Warrior" and this camp was at Dixie High School. He finally chose to go and had a blast all week. He decided Dixie wasn't as bad as he had thought! That was a bonus!
