Preston in FIVE!!

I can't believe it, but Preston is Five! For Preston it was a long time coming... he has been counting the days for awhile now! ;o)

I had wrapped his presents up the night before and left them on the table, so the first thing he did when he woke up was open those presents! Preston likes to sleep in, but he was up and wanting to open 7:30!
I made him breakfast with one of his favorite fruits, strawberries.

At preschool Miss Janae sang and made him feel very special.

Then it was on to the BIG Star Wars ParTY!! We had a bunch of cousins and friends come with their Light Sabor and play Star Wars Games, frost cupcakes and then a special guest arrived....
To make a long story short, a week ago when Preston was in the bathtub, he asked if we could go to Disneyland and ask Darth Vader (DV) if he would come to his birthday. Preston didn't know if he was going to come because all we could do was mail DV an invite! Well, it looks like he got it and he came to the party! The little boys weren't quite sure if they like him or not. Most wouldn't even get near him!

The best was, when DV walked in, Preston looked at his Dad and said "Yes, I knew he was going to come!!" Then he ran to the window and looked out, Gavin asked "What are you doing?" Preston's response, "Looking for his Ship!" We had to let Pres know that, ships are not allowed on our roads, the Police just don't allow it! (The lies we tell, all in the name of childhood innocents!)
Gavin had to hold one, that is the only way he was going to get in the picture! After the kids party the grandparents, and family came over for pizza. It was a long day, but a good one! Happy Birthday Preston, we all love you so much and hope you had a great 5th Birthday!

My boys love Star Wars too. Mason keeps telling me he wants a Star Wars party when he turns 7, so you'll have to give me some ideas.

OK, Preston's bday totally makes Matt's looks so lame-o, so thanks a lot Lainee for being a cooler mom! Looks like all the boys enjoyed it - and I like how you started the day off with food and presents!
I've had to go private, so email me at sjandrus@aol.com and I'll put you on my list
