Biker Boy!

Last Friday Preston and his dad decided it was time to take off the training wheels! This is a big day in a young boys life and one he probably won't forget. Gavin took him to the lane behind our house and began teaching him. He caught on really pretty quick. Landon came running in the house after they had only been out for 5 minutes yelling "Preston can ride! Preston can ride!" It wasn't quite that fast but the whole learning process was really pretty painless. His only real wreck was running into a camp trailer parked on the road,  I wish I had it on film. It was classic!  After about 30 minutes of riding he told his dad his "legs were pretty tired." So they came in and took a rest. Sunday he figured out how to start peddling on his own so now we are home free! Each day this week he has become a little better. I love the look on his face after he rides around in his little circle on the driveway.  He is pretty proud, and I am proud of him too!
