Snow Day

The perfect way to end the Holiday break, was waking up to a blanket of freshly fallen snow.  Looking at the blanket of snow was so peaceful, that is until the kids run out and start throwing it! Addie tried to take cover, luckily the kids throwing it at her couldn't aim!

Preston and Addie built Frosty almost all by themselves. He was awesome. Check out those arms! Pres even sacrificed and gave him his gloves. It was a fun way to end such a fun break.

Sledding

Santa brought the boys sleds for Christmas, so on New Year's Eve we headed up to Pine Valley to go sledding. The boys had a ton of fun. Landon got to be really good and the sleds worked great. We only had one accident. Preston got plowed from someone coming down the hill while they were walking up the hill the very first time. Gavin thought he was going to have a concussion, but he popped up and was fine. Nothing was stopping him from trying out his new sled!  I stayed in the car most of the time with Carlee, but at the end I even went down once! The weather was beautiful, blue skies and no wind. We couldn't have asked for a better day. Good Times, Good times!

SNOW Much Fun!

Our "snow gear" needs a little help... we still had a great time, even if it was short!

SnOW dAy!

Thursday, December 18, 2008 was an official SnOW dAy!! School was canceled, so we go to play in the snow all day! Well, really it wasn't all day, because we don't have the right equipment to play in to snow for to long, our gloves get wet and our shoes let the water in! Our snow day lasted maybe 45 minutes and then we were done with the snow.

Here is Preston helping his dad shovel the drive. Its a good thing it doesn't snow here much, because we have a long drive! :)
Landon started building a snow fort, he got about 2 1/2 layers and was done with that little project!
On the way home from making Gingerbread houses, we stopped at Grandpa and Grandma's and took some pictures of the snow and all their Christmas lights! They really went all out this year! It is so fun to drive by their house each night, check the counter to see how many days are left until the big guy makes his appearance and look at all their pretty lights! Thanks Grandpa and Grandma for sharing your Christmas Spirit with so many. I love you.
Seven Days and 2 hours left!!
Look at all the Snow!!
This picture was taken at about 10:00, the boys were so excited it was snowing again, they could hardly contain themselves. Once we got home they stayed outside and played in the snow until 11:00 p.m! (December 17, 2008)

Gavin went to Las Vegas for a meeting this night, it snowed going to and coming. Glad he was able to get home safe!

Gingerbread Houses

We had the annual Gingerbread house construction at Grandpa Dennis' NEW/OLD house. It was a lot of fun, Landon even made his very own this year. He also made a gingerbread house (bottom picture) at school. He is kind of a perfectionist... he wanted everything to be just right!  I think he did a great job.

The best part about making gingerbread houses was that it snowed the whole time we did it. It was so pretty to look out Dennis' window and seeing the whole valley covered in white.

Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!

Last Monday it snowed! When it snows in the desert, little boys have to go play in it! This picture was taken at 8:00 a.m. (now that might not be really early to most, but to the Frei boys, that's early!)  They had fun, until their fingers turned red and felt like they were going to fall off. It didn't take long for both of them to be in the house wrapped up in a blanket!
