I keep trying to imagine the reunion that took place in heaven just a few short days ago. I know her parents plus lots more were there to greet and welcome her home. I am sure she is having one big celebration right this very minute.
Yes, my Grandma went home.
She has been ready for some time now, but sometimes dying isn't easy. I bet she is so happy to see Wendy, her daughter she lost that was just a day old. Yes, I just keep trying to imagine all this, to help the hurt in my heart ease, I know it will soon.I am so thankful for the my knowledge of the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. Because of it I know I will see her again, and our reunion will be sweet.
She was like a second mom to me, and lived right next door. She brought us our mail everyday, she waited for me at the bus stop, and drove me anywhere I wanted to go.
She made a mean cheese quesadilla, fried egg and tomato sandwich. There was always a pack of Big Red on her counter and Dreamsicle's in the freezer.
You could always find Mash playing on her TV and the A/C running full speed.
She loved animals, and watered all the horses everyday. Sometime I would help her, I have many memories down in the barn Grandma. She always had a tissue stuck in her pants ready to wipe my nose at a moments notice.
She was a beautiful special Grandma, I am so thankful she was mine.
I love you Grandma.

Ohhh Lain...I am so sorry!! That is so, so hard to loose someone that you love so much. I am sure there was a wonderful reunion...and it is good that we know we will see them again. You will always, always miss her... I don't think the miss goes away...but the pain will.
Love you!!
I will always remember the times Grandma Corrine came over to your mom's house when I would be there - just checking in on stuff, all the places she would haul you, and how genuinely kind she was. I remember the humming talked about at the funeral. She was a very special lady! You're lucky you got to grow up next to her, and that she loved you so much!!!
So well said...there is no more to say after that Lainee, that was Grandma...Thanks....
i loved reading this - i think your dad looks just like her
Just loved that GOOD Lady!
