Preston put on his batting helmet so the hail wouldn't hurt. I thought that was a pretty smart idea. I couldn't get over how it just kept raining and raining hard for at least 20 or 30 minutes. Our yard was one big puddle. The neighbor had water about to run into their front door, so Gavin helped them pump the water out. The whole neighborhood stood out in it, it was nice to feel the rain on your face.
Then it turned to mud... and what do little boys do with mud? You guessed it, throw it, rub it all over, and slide in it. I am not sure what possess someone to rub mud all over themselves. But, that is what little boys do. I have quit trying to figure it out, I have just embraced it. Because basically that is all I CAN do.

I love it! I would be right there in the mud with them! I hope Adi is feeling better! I'm sorry we missed you too! We need to do a night out!
I would give anything to go back and be able to rub mud all over myself again like I did when I was little. Such cute pictures!
AWESOME mud pictures. We must have been out of town for this little storm. :)
Love, love, love the mud pictures! :) My kids need to have a mud day. Next time it pours, we're coming over! :)
