Today I am finally ready for the new year to start! I have made my goals, put my Christmas away, created my first scrapbook page, updated my blog, and it is a beautiful sunny day outside.
On Monday we I decided what our "word" would be for this year. It is going to be FOCUS. I think it is perfect especially for me because I can loose track of my focus really quite quick. I want to focus on the things that matter, scripture study, family, husband... I also want to focus on finishing. I have trouble with finishing things, I am a great starter, it is the finishing that needs the work. I also want to focus on keeping this year caught up in the scrapbooking department. Here is how I am going to do it....
You see I am going to take a picture everyday this year. I then will use the Everyday Life Digital Kit that Bradi and I created to make my layouts! How easy is that. Everything I could ever want to put on my pages is already pre-done and no thinking will be involved. This will really make my "finishing" goal a whole lot easier! Anyone else want to do it with me? See my 1st week is already half way done. I think 2010 is shaping up to be a fantastic year already!

HI, there! You commented on my blog today, and told me about the digital kit you're using--I was was actually just looking at it this evening before I even read your comment! I may yet purchase it, but I've also been looking for something more baby girl related as I've a new one coming next month, and want to scrap her first year the 365 way.

You go girl! Looks like we are on the same page with being a starter and not a finisher. Also with wanting to keep up with scrapbooking. Your kit is really cute! Great for digital people. I just got my Becky Higgins Project Life kits in the mail. I'm going to try to use one for each child this year and see how it goes. There has got to be a better solution than finishing nothing! I ordered some frames from your site last week (like the ones you used for your Christmas pictures)...so cute! Love all of your pics. Here's to 2010! Let's hope we can both stay on top of things this year!

So cute!!! I love your digital kits!! I really need to get started!! I love the updates!! Looks like you had a fun Christmas! Love all the pictures! I love the pictures of the girls at the tea party! That was so fun! They are so darling! Here's to 2010...I, too, need to work at the finishing thing!! I always have all kinds of things started...and laying around, cluttering, and never get finished! Or tons of ideas in my head that I want to do, and never get done!! FOCUS is a GREAT word!! I need to live by that a little more, too!!
