Katie had her annual baking day. It is always a fun tradition. This year I tried to make honey candy... I guess I needed to cook it a few more degrees. It tasted good, but oh was it gooey! Good thing everyone else made good treats so I could take something home! I did have success on my batch of toffee, and it was gone before I remembered to take a picture of it. If you ever want to get in good with Gavin just bring over some toffee and he will love you for life!

Annual Baking Day
Katie had her annual baking day. It is always a fun tradition. This year I tried to make honey candy... I guess I needed to cook it a few more degrees. It tasted good, but oh was it gooey! Yummy!!! That looks like fun!! We use to make the best honey candy out at our ranch when I was younger. My mom would always whip up a batch out there..so now honey candy just reminds me of the ranch!!
