The last week of summer was action packed at our house! Lets start from the top!
Monday: Went to the Splash Pad with Tara, Tavie and Allie.
Tuesday: Went to the Hidden Valley Park and had a great time with Stephanie, Tara and Kids. I Have to mention, I met a new blogger friend, Kelsi. Here is how... I had forgot Addie's bow and happened to find one in my bag, the bow I found was one I had bought from Iron Station. (I had found a blog awhile back from a girl that made bows here in town. I wrote a comment and she emailed me back and told me I could buy her bows at the Iron Station.) So after I had put the bow on Addie's head this girl kept looking at me and then at the bow and then back at me until I recognized her. It was Kelsi and she is the one that made Addies bow! Anyway we got to talking and decided that we were meant to be friends because what are the chances, I go to a park all the way across town and forget Addie's bow and then find one and it happens to be the one she made! I decided it is a very small world :)

The Hidden Valley Park, way fun!
Wednesday: Okay Wed. was crazy! My mom is in charge of the Jr Rodeo at the county fair so I take the entries for her. The day of the rodeo every year is alway a little crazy, making copies, fixing my spreadsheets, creating all my payout envelopes... I had told the boys we would do something summery everyday so Stephanie, Tara and I decided we would swim for an hour at the Shaw's. All the mom's were about to lose it, I guess it was because we usually don't have a big outing everyday of the week. Plus I had the Jr rodeo that night and Stephanie was having her kids pictures taken. The story that sums up our pool experience is this: Luke (Stephanie's little boy) is getting potty trained and he needed to go to the bathroom, so Stephanie has him pee outside (like most boys do) and she is waiting and waiting for him to go and right as she says "Luke, do you have to pee or not?" Out plops a big poop right on her big toe!!! Tara and I started laughing so hard, I was crying. I handed her some wet wipes and she cleaned it up. It was so stinking funny. Stephanie didn't think it was as funny as Tara and I did, but it totally lighted the mood!
One more thing about Wednesday.... This was the first time I left my baby with anyone for longer than an hour! I left her with Aubrey and Garrett and she was well taken care of. It was hard for me, Aubrey probably thought I was crazy for how many times I had called her to plan it. Anyway she did great and was sound asleep when we went to pick her up. Thanks again Aubrey!
Thursday: We needed a day of rest! They did play with Brooklyn and Kason because Bradi and Katie came over and took Addie's 3 month pictures! I am so excited to see them, I think they got some cute ones :)
Friday: Bradi came over again and gave me a lesson on using Photoshop Elements. I am really excited to start doing my scrapbooking on the computer. It should be really fun, once I get the program figured out! At about 4:00 we took the kids over to the new pool in Washington, Susan came with us too. Wow that is quite the pool. Landon had lots of fun going down the hydro tube with Payton and Preston loved playing with Colton and Brooklyn on the slides. Gavin kept Addie at home, He took her down to see Grandma Frei and then to the farm. She is really becoming Daddy's little girl.
Here comes Preston! He liked this slide a lot! I am so proud of him he is learning how to swim really good.

Later Friday night we went to the County Fair. The boys had been waiting to ride the carnival rides since Wednesday! They were good boys, they didn't even cry when we were out of tickets! Landon loved the big slide and Preston loved the space ship ride. Gavin took his horse over and entered the team branding. He ended up taking 2nd place. It was a good night, Mom and Dad were over there, so they helped me with the kids which was a blessing.

Saturday: I went to Lacy's shower, she is so cute and will be a great mom. The boys went to Britton's birthday party. Gavin got his haircut and wrote his talk for sacrament on Sunday, and Jake and Dennis got back from the big baseball tournament in Steamboat Springs, CO. They get to live with us for a few months while his house is being remodeled. The boys are thrilled to have Jake living at our house. They pretty much worship the ground he walks on!
Sunday: Today! Gavin spoke in church today with the Elder's Quorum Presidency. Each one of them did a great job. Mom and Dad came to church to listen to him. It was fun to have mom in Relief Society with us. 4 Generations of Reber girls. Grandma, Mom, me and Addie. Pretty Cool.
Well as you can see this has been one of our crazier weeks! It was filled with a lot of laughs, a few cries and lots of great memories! Good Times :)
